The Amethyst BioMat is basically a narrow mattress filled with pockets of smooth amethyst stones. When you turn it on, it sends a gentle heating current through the stones, which causes a release of negative ions and far infrared rays that penetrate deeply into the body.

The BioMat converts electricity, through a computerized control panel, into Far Infrared waves. Far Infrared has been identified by NASA to be the safest, most beneficial light wave on the spectrum. These rays become heat when they enter the body, warming it from the inside out with a gentle, radiant heat.
